--Syllog, Inc., a company focused on the IT requirements for securitiesprocessing, has licensed ACI Worldwide's PaymentWare--a family of business-to-business e-commerce solutions for payment and messaging. PaymentWare will be used to power Syllog's S.W.I.F.T Services Bureau (SSSB). As part of the agreement, ACI's corporate banking business unit will have exclusive rights to market and sell SSSB worldwide. SSSB serves as a means for financial institutions and securities-related operations to outsource their communications with the international S.W.I.F.T network for securities trading and processing.
--ADP is now offering Global Processing Solution (GPS). GPS is an integrated global processing platform that enables firms to operate in any instrument, in any market, and at any time: GPS supports the processing, clearance, settlement and custody of virtually all financial instruments, including foreign currency, fixed income, equities, commodities and derivatives. The service also features intelligent order routing and management capabilities which allow orders to be routed to any domestic exchange, ECN, external broker or firm trading desk.
--Financial Exchange Service Ltd. (FES) is launching a Web-based version of its global payment and reporting service for banks and corporate clients. The service offers straight-through processing over the Internet, for corporations and small to medium enterprises, using an XML interface to enable payments into banks via the S.W.I.F.T network. FES provides a financial transaction processing facility that can be private labeled by banks to enable their corporate clients to make multi-currency, cross-border payments via S.W.I.F.T.
