Standard & Poor's has expanded its CreditWire ratings and research information service with several new features. The enhanced service includes real-time ratings/outlook screens with running lists of rating changes, bulletins and other actions on issues, issuers or obligors. A Global Credit Markets Digest has also been added with daily highlights or recent research, upcoming teleconferences and articles. The media releases area has also been streamlined to announce a rating or outlook change with the principal reasons for the action in a brief release. In addition, CreditWire Japan has been launched on a subscription basis in response to requests for Japanese-language content. The service includes daily-credit ratings, research and updates in Japanese on Japan's sovereign debt, Japanese corporates, financial institutions and structured financings.
