MARKET DATA

Thomson Financial launches its Thomson One Banker desktop solution; Equitec Proprietary Markets replaces its traditional market-data vendor feeds with a ticker plant system from InfoDyne; HyperFeed partners with Telekurs USA to deliver global data to its customers.

Thomson Financial has launched its Thomson One Banker desktop solution with integrated real-time market data and news and investment-banking research content and earnings estimates. Users can customize their desktop with content sets from disparate databases and arrange the data from both internal and third-party sources according to their needs. Thomson One Banker can be deployed as a browser-based product or as a workstation residing on an internal system.

Equitec Proprietary Markets, a proprietary trading group, has replaced its traditional market-data vendor feeds with a ticker plant system from InfoDyne. The new ticker plant will be driven by direct exchange feeds from Nasdaq, CTA, OPRA and others through Savvis' Financial Xchange Network. The data will be delivered to Equitec's proprietary applications using InfoDyne's object-based Middleware distribution and API technology.

HyperFeed has partnered with Telekurs USA to deliver global data to its customers. HyperFeed customer's data will be combined with distributed ticker-plant technologies and managed-exchange services. HyperFeed and Telekurs will distribute the new joint product in HyperFeed's format and through its proprietary technology. The new Telekurs feed delivery format will be available as a stand-alone feed or as a channel on HyperFeed's managed-exchange-services platform. The first set of global data is expected to be available by the end of the first quarter.

MSCI, a provider of cross-border investment performance benchmarks has selected Iverson's Historical Securities Database for use in developing a new family of U.S. equity indices. The new indices for domestic investors will be launched in phases early this year with a focus on data integrity, market data aggregation, quality control and support. This expands on Iverson's previous agreement with MSCI to distribute MSCI indices to its Global Index Monitor customer base.
