* Moneyline Telerate extends its network services contract with Savvis through 2009; * Rick Snape has joined SunGard Market Data Systems as its new president; * Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting partners with StatementOne for data-aggregation services.

Moneyline Telerate has extended its network services contract with Savvis through 2009. Moneyline Telerate previously tapped Savvis for privately managed IP VPN extranet services with over 6000 client connections in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Under the revised contract, Savvis will also provide applications server management including field service, help desk support and data warehousing support for Moneyline Telerate. The two companies also say they will work together to develop new services for the financial community.

Rick Snape has joined SunGard Market Data Systems as its new president. Snape was formerly co-chief executive officer of Bridge Information Systems and also previously served as chief operating officer of Telerate. Snape will focus on expanding SunGard Market Data Systems' capabilities and areas of service. Former president Dennis Morgan will take over the sales, account management and client- services operations.

Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting, a member of the Lincoln Financial Group, has partnered with StatementOne for data-aggregation services to be used by the firm's 2,200 independent financial planners. StatementOne collects data on a daily basis through live feeds from clearing sources, custodians and legacy systems to create a scalable, unified database.

Niall FitzGerald, joint chairman and CEO of Unilever, will join the Reuters Board as a non-executive director on January 1, 2003. Reuters also announced that Dennis Malamatinas has resigned as non-executive director of the company. Malamatinas is leaving to help develop Marfin Bank, a private bank in Greece where he will serve as Co-CEO and member of the Board.

Desmond Quilty has joined U.K.-based researchsummary.com as business development director. Quilty was previously global head of production and supervision (equity research) at Salomon Smith Barney. He will report directly to John Thorne, CEO of researchsummary, and will work to meet demand for outsourced RIXML-based investment research solutions.
