IN BRIEF

SS&C TECHNOLOGIES, INC., releases SS&C Debt & Derivatives 2000, version 7.2; TRADEWORX'S LO-Price technology gets implemented on several financial Web sites; DATALINK.NET and THE GLOBAL MARKETS DIVISION OF THE CHASE MANHATTAN BANK announce partnership to facilitate wireless market-data distribution.

SS&C TECHNOLOGIES, INC. recently released SS&C Debt & Derivatives 2000, version 7.2, its modularized application that processes and analyzes all activities pertaining to debt and derivative portfolios. This latest version offers several new features to its clients. In particular, it contains Financial Accounting Standard Number 133 (FAS 133), which establishes accounting and reporting standards for derivative instruments. As FAS 133 must be fully incorporated by year-end, version 7.2's timely release will give customers time to test and integrate the system to ensure full compliance with the standard.

TRADEWORX'S LO-Price technology has already been implemented on several financial Web sites. This technology helps investors to submit limit orders at better-than-market prices, while ensuring that orders have desirable odds of being executed. The LO-Price technology recently went live at AB Whately's Web site, and today CNBC will go live with the technology on its Web site.
