CME Group Names New Head of Global FX Products
CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange operator, announced that it appointed Roger Rutherford as managing director of its global FX products segment.
The move comes as part of an overall plan to expand the firm's presence in the FX market, the company said.
"FX continues to be our fastest growing business line during non-U.S. hours, and Roger's deep knowledge of the FX market will be a tremendous asset as we continue to execute our global growth strategy," Derek Sammann, CME's managing of FX and interest rate products said in a statement.
Rutherford had previously served as the head of product management for CLS Services London, a firm that provides FX settlement services, CME said.
