CMC Markets Unveils Spread Betting iPhone App

CMC Markets, a U.K.-based provider of spread betting and contract for difference trading, announced the debut of a spread betting application for the iPhone which enables users to access live prices.

The firm added that the application enables users to trade on price movements of thousands of global financial instruments including shares, indices, currencies and commodities.

“We are not the first company in the industry to launch an iPhone app but without a doubt, I believe ours has the highest level of functionality and usability of all spread betting apps available,” CMC Markets founder and executive chairman Peter Cruddas said in a statement.

“We’ve built it from the ground up as a fully functional trading platform designed specifically for the iPhone.”

The firm said the application delivers streaming prices, real-time news, live charts and up-to-the second information so spread betters can trade or monitor positions.
