“We have made some significant hires in our fixed income group over the last 18 months and have been actively looking for the right team to expand in the UK,” stated Gary Hayes, CEO of BTIG Ltd., in the release. “This group enhances our London team of more than 30 professionals and allows us to provide clients with a wider product offering,” explained Hayes in the release. Jon Bass, head of global fixed income at BTIG, commented in the release, “As emerging markets bonds have continued to see steady inflows in recent months and are expected to perform well over the coming months we wanted to ensure our European based clients had access to a local sales and trading team with the experience needed to navigate these markets.”
