TRADE ORDER MANAGEMENT
Robeco Group, the Netherlands-based investment management firm, has signed for theLongView Group's trade order management system, Landmark. Robeco is planning to moveall if its equity trading activities over to Landmark over the coming weeks. Robeco,one of the older mutual fund companies in the world, manages approximately $100 billionin assets.
Dresdner RCM Global Investors, an investment management subsidiary of Dresdner Bank,has signed for Financial Models Company's client statement generation system, PAGES.The firm is currently implementing PAGES to replace an in-house report generatingsystem. During its system search, Dresdner was looking for an application that was Y2kready and employed industry-standard components like Microsoft Office and SeagateCrystal Reports. PAGES delivers a total solution for client reporting, combining theautomation and dynamic formatting required for today's client statement generationprocess. PAGES integrates easily with a client's portfolio management or investmentaccounting system and is fully compatible with all relational databases, SQL files andflat files. PAGES documents are customized to contain conditional charts, graphs,reports, text, logos and graphics tailored to individual client requirements.
IT ASSET MANAGEMENT
Janus Technologies, a developer and provider of enterprise asset management repositorysoftware, has released an executive report entitled, "IT Asset Management: The BigPicture." The new report, which addresses the issues facing organizations as theyimplement an asset management initiatives, seeks to define asset management, look atthe issues surrounding asset management, identify common causes of unsuccessful assetmanagement initiatives, and focus on the three components necessary forassetmanagement.
