BofA Hires Caliendo to Manage Relationships with Hedge Funds
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired Tracy Caliendo as managing director and head of Americas Equity Hedge Fund Services, according to an internal memo. Caliendo will join the firm in September and will be based in New York, where she will oversee the firm’s relationships with hedge funds and focus on electronic trading.
Caliendo joins BoFa Merrill Lynch after more than 16 years with Goldman Sachs where she was most recently a managing director and co-head of Americas Electronic Trading Sales and Coverage.
In that position, she was responsible for senior relationship management of the largest U.S.-based hedge funds across the equity platform. Caliendo began her career at Goldman in prime brokerage.
She will report to Scott Bacigalupo, Americas head of cash equity sales and trading, and Jason Crosby, global head of portfolio products distribution and head of Americas electronic distribution, according to a report in Bloomberg News.
