Back Joins Citigroup GTS
Ken Back has joined Citigroup Global Transaction Services as managing director of strategic solutions for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). In the newly created position, Back is responsible for growing Citigroup's market presence across the region, structuring and managing outsourcing transactions with key clients, and developing the Citigroup GTS product offering to the asset management industry.
Previously, Back was COO and executive director of ISIS Asset Management. He also has held senior roles at State Street Bank & Trust and Clerical Medical Investment Group in London.
"Because of my buy-side [and] sell-side experience, I brought a ... view from both sides of the market in terms of where this market space is moving and how it might develop," Back says. He adds that his strategic knowledge of "where the pressure points are" in the investment management industry is the biggest asset he brings to Citigroup.
