Dr. Corey Cherr is Head of Agriculture and Weather Research and Forecasts at Thomson Reuters. Trained in biological and physical sciences, he has fifteen years' experience in the application of quantitative analysis, remote sensing and weather models to agricultural production. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Corey was Product Manager of Lanworth, Inc, where he helped lead the development of Lanworth's unique crop forecasting methodology utilizing satellite imagery, weather and climatological data, econometric models and boots on the ground surveys. He holds an undergraduate degree in physics from the Florida State University, and earned graduate degrees in agronomy and ecology from the University of Florida and the University of California at Davis.
