Trace Datawise Financial Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trace Group plc, has signed an agreement with APT Computer Systems to integrate APT's FIX engine with Trace's Message Processing Framework (MPF) product suite. This extension of back-end connectivity within MPF is complementary to the recently launched WebTM Web browser-based data-entry facility for MPF. The enhanced MPF product is now able to process FIX messages through the APT FIX engine.
Macgregor, a global provider of buy-side trade-order-management systems and FIX network services, announced the appointment of Gary Plotkin, as vice president, Professional Services. In this role Plotkin will be responsible for Macgregor's consulting-services practice and the strategic delivery of Macgregor's products and services. Plotkin joins Macgregor from Accenture where he was a partner in its financial-services organization.
PFPC Inc., a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and the nation's largest full-service mutual-fund transfer agent, announced that its managed-account-services group has entered an exclusive-service agreement to market and provide the ADVISORport managed-account platform to managed-account sponsors nationwide. The agreement will allow PFPC to add separate accounts and multi-strategy accounts to its array of managed-account products and services.
