Misys Asset Management Systems has appointed Peter Miller and Peter McKenna as directors of sales and marketing, respectively. Miller is charged with leading Misys Asset Management Systems' sales efforts in the U.K., Scandinavia, Africa and the Gulf. He previously was sales director of middleware-product vendor Braid Systems, and has also worked for Logica. McKenna joins Misys from Interactive Investor where he was head of longer-term investments and transactions-product-marketing manager. Prior to this, he worked for QSP Financial Systems and Reuters.

SimCorp has launched version 3.2 of its TMS2000 investment-management system, offering users improved portfolio and benchmark analysis, support for multiple portfolio masters -- which enable static and reference data to be shared by a company operating in several countries as well as departments -- and the use of external benchmarks, such as such as MSCI, DAX, FTSE and S&P, to comparatively measure investment performance.
