Chuck Molinary, Managing Director, Citisoft

Chuck Molinary, managing director of the New York region, Citisoft, says one of the main trends on Wall Street are vendors in the OMS space who have historically been in equity, fixed income platforms and are moving to derivatives processing. “At the same time, a lot of the derivatives platforms are going downstream towards fixed income. It’s kind of a race to see who can come up with a single platform that can support both asset classes,” he says. Molinary, who has attended SIFMA for the last 8 years, says the event seems to be growing. “It is also getting a little more glitzy,” he says. “You see people trying to attract others to their booth. I look at it as a broad networking event. It’s an opportunity for vendors and clients to interact.”
