Odey Asset Management Implements ConvergEx’s Eze OMS

London-based investment firm Odey Asset Management has selected ConvergEx’s Eze Order Management System (OMS) for support and automation of its pre-trade compliance, position checking, order management and electronic trading processes.

Tim Pearey, chief financial officer of Odey Asset Management, said in a statement, “After a thorough assessment of various OMS providers, we found that the Eze OMS was the solution that best met our needs and we are thrilled with the results. Odey manages over $6 billion in assets for institutional investors, private banks and individual investors. Before implementing the Eze OMS, the firm relied on a manual trading workflow and had to book orders directly into their back-office system at the end of each trading day.
