SS&C Launches New Risk Analytics Platform

SS&C Technologies Holdings, a provider of financial services software, has launched Risk Analytics, an independent risk analysis platform aimed at hedge funds, private equity funds, and managed accounts.

The firm said the new program is fully integrated with its proprietary accounting and derivatives platform. Risk Analytics also gives users daily and monthly reporting as part of the firm’s middle and back office fund administration services, SS&C added.

“Adding SS&C’s risk report gives us a nice daily summary covering a broad range of portfolio risk analytics,” a U.S.-based institutional hedge fund who uses the new platform said in statement. “With a combination of detailed sector/position analyses and concise portfolio summary data, this report provides a useful tool in our constant effort to recognize and manage risk exposure in our equities portfolio.”
