Options IT Deploys ACTIV Financial's Low Latency Data Feed

Options IT expands its offering by adding ACTIVFeed, which is a fully managed low-latency market data solution.

Options IT has deployed ACTIV Financial's ACTIVFeed on the Options PIPE platform, which is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service for the buy side and sell side.

ACTIV Feed offers trading firms a highly compressed data stream delivering every tick on every market instrument to the client trading application with minimal bandwidth footprint. ACTIVFeed is a market data alternative to the traditional consolidated market data feed distributors, according to the release.

“To provide low-latency and cost-effective market data solutions, content and technology must go hand-in-hand,” commented Frank Piasecki, president and co-founder of ACTIV Financial, which is a global provider of fully managed low-latency market data solutions. “Clients who access ACTIVFeed through Options IT can now enjoy fast access to high volumes of top-quality, comprehensive global market data delivered over a flexible and dynamic platform. The combination of ACTIV data and Options IT technology allows our clients to better compete in today’s quickly changing and increasingly complex market.”

All Options PIPE Platform services —PIPE Velocity, PIPE Momentum and PIPE Core_ provide firms with a cmoplete and fully managed financail technology services. “A primary focus for Options IT is to provide our clients with easy access to the largest number of financial application and market data solutions on our PIPE platform,” stated Nigel Kneafsey, CEO at Options IT. “Creating a highly enriched platform environment ensures clients have optimal flexibility and a much faster time to market with new strategies. The addition of the ACTIVFeed market data service is another significant step in that ongoing process,” stated Kneafsey in the release.
