Morgan Stanley iPad Application Takes Aim at Institutional Clients

Morgan Stanley announced the launch of an application on Apple Inc.’s iPad that aims to let institutional clients view reports on fixed income markets, stocks, currencies and economics.

Morgan Stanley announced the launch of an application on Apple Inc.’s iPad that aims to let institutional clients view reports on fixed income markets, stocks, currencies and economics.

The investment bank said users will be able to filter the research reports according to their own investment profiles. It also said all of the features encompassed in its other research applications are included in this one, including risk-reward analysis, essential market debates, value drivers, pending catalysts, and analysis of “what’s in the price.” The new application is also free on the App Store, Morgan Stanley added.

“It’s a powerful tool for instantly delivering the risk-reward essentials for Morgan Stanley Research is known: market intelligence to identify the investor debates driving a stock; scenarios accounting for a full range of plausible outcomes; an evidence-based research that helps investors maximize returns for the risks they choose to take,” Barry Hurewitz, Morgan Stanley’s Chief Operating Officer of Investment Research said in a statement.
