Interxion Unveils Low-Latency Access To BATS Europe

Interxion, a European provider of carrier-neutral data center services, said today that it’s now offering low-latency access to the BATS Europe multilateral trading facility.

Interxion, a European provider of carrier-neutral data center services, said today that it’s now offering low-latency access to the BATS Europe multilateral trading facility.

The firm said access to the BATS Europe MTF is available to clients using its London data center. BATS Europe, which has market share ranging between 8 percent and 10 percent of Britain’s FTSE 100, averages system latency of 250 microseconds and circuit latency of 100 microseconds.

“Interxion data centers offer market participants a broad choice of low-latency fiber routes to Europe’s leading liquidity venues and a wide range of value-added services from one of the largest trading communities in Europe,” Kevin Dean, Interxion’s chief marketing officer said in a statement.
