Interactive Data Strikes Deal To Distribute Tradition’s OTC Data

Interactive Data Corp said today that it will carry over-the-counter data from interdealer broker Tradition through its low-latency data feed PlusFeed.

Interactive data said the move will enable its users to access Tradition’s wide range of currency data and other OTC-traded instruments, including basis swaps, inflation swaps, cross-currency swaps and cash deposits for money markets.

“With the current volatility in the financial markets, we’ve seen strong demand from clients of PlusFeed for access to global real-time OTC data,” Interactive Data executive Don Finucane said in a statement. The agreement “will allow us to further extend our global coverage of the OTC markets as optional value-added services via PlusFeed.”
