Equinix Partners with Bloomberg

Will provide colocation, connectivity and interconnection services for Bloomberg data services and Bloomberg Tradebook.

announced a partnership today to provide secure and reliable collocation and connectivity choices and interconnection services for Bloomberg’s data services and Bloomberg Tradebook.

Bloomberg Enterprise Products and Solutions will deploy data services infrastructure in Equinix’s New York and London International Business Exchange (IBX) data centers. Through the partnership, existing and prospective Bloomberg and Equinix customers located within the Equinix IBX data centers will have easy access to Bloomberg’s real time data, B-PIPE and Event Driven Trading feeds. The partnership will also offer the ability to connect to global agency broker Bloomberg Tradebook in New York.

“Together, Equinix and Bloomberg deliver a solution that addresses the growing need among global financial markets to securely connect to multiple partners simultaneously,” said John Knuff, general manager, Global Financial Services at Equinix. “Bloomberg’s offerings leverage our global reach in key financial markets, further extending the value of the Equinix financial services ecosystem.”
