Capital IQ Unveils Intraday Financial Data Platform

Capital IQ, a unit of Standard & Poor’s that provides data and analytics, announced it launched a platform that enables the intraday delivery of full financial statements, ratios, and trading multiples sourced from earnings releases.

Minutes after an earnings statement is released, Capital IQ said its clients will be able to view fully standardized and auditable financials of companies trading on North American exchanges, including American Depositary Receipts.

“Having access to comprehensive and accurate financial statements minutes after earnings releases is crucial to the workflow of any financial professional,” Capital IQ’s executive managing director Randall Winn said in a statement. “With the new collection process in place, our client base can continue to work faster and generate better investment ideas by accessing financials in real-time.”
