Asset Manager Marathon to Deploy SimCorp Dimension
Marathon Asset Management, which manages $53 billion for institutional clients, announced it will use SimCorp's Dimension platform as its investment management system.
The asset manager said SimCorp Dimension will replace three of its existing application systems, and a range of middle and back office functions that were once conducted manually. Marathon said the system will support the portfolio accounting operations it uses for traditional and alternative funds. SimCorp Dimension will also enable trade processing, asset servicing, performance measurement, stock lending and funds valuation, Marathon said.
"The system's ability to provide transparency across all activities, improved real-time valuation and improved client services" will help drive future growth for the company, Marathon said in a statement.
