UBS Dark Pool to Launch in Hong Kong

UBS announced it will be launching its Price Improvement Network (PIN) dark pool in Hong Kong.

PIN already operates in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia. This latest move into the Hong Kong market follows Goldman Sachs announcement in March that its Sigma-X dark pool platform was moving into the market. Instinet, ITG and CLSA also have dark pool platforms in the Hong Kong market.

UBS also announced a deal with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley this month to enable each of their clients to access their respective European dark pools.
