Elliott Brings Payments Experience to Glenbrook Partners
Former Visa VP Linda Elliott returned to the world of payments when she joined Glenbrook Partners, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based financial services consulting and research firm. Along with her payments experience, Elliott says, her knowledge of technology and governance will help her better serve clients.
After 15 years in the payments space, including a stint as the VP of global payments systems for Visa International, Elliott left the industry three years ago to help found Ping Identity, a provider of federated identity solutions and Web single sign-on software. Despite her success at Ping, Elliott says she was unable to let go of payments. "I really missed the payment space - it's what I really love," she relates. "I even enjoyed the [payments] industry in my spare time, and I just wanted to get back in it."
