TraderPlanet.com Teams Up with Barchart.com to Provide More Content for Traders

Barchart.com will provide charts and market quotes, enabling traders to remain fully informed of daily market activity through the portal, which also supplies market research and news, tutorials, commentaries and webinars.

www.Traderplanet.com, an interactive social networking site for active traders and investors, teamed up with Barchart.com, a provider of web-integrated solutions for the financial community to provide new content for the financial community.

Barchart.com will provide charts and market quotes, enabling traders to remain fully informed of daily market activity, TraderPlanet.com said.

In exchange, TraderPlanet.com is providing Barchart.com with market commentary from Jim Wyckoff and Darrell Jobman, industry experts and senior analysts at TraderPlanet.com. The commentary will also be syndicated for InsideFutures, a subsidiary of Barchart.com.

TraderPlanet.com launched earlier this year with the aim of helping improve trading strategies in the midst of the current economic crisis.

The portal supplies market research and news through articles, tutorials, commentaries, webinars, audio broadcasts, books and software.

It also offers data and technical analysis tools, which according to TraderPlanet.com are designed to enhance trading performance and level the playing field between institutional and individual investors.

The Tampa Bay, Fl-based site positions itself as a cross between MySpace and WebMD for the financial community, and describes its main competition as The Motley Fool and Cake Financial.

"www.TraderPlanet.com has emerged as a leading education and social networking website for active traders and investors and we are delighted to partner with them to provide in-depth market analysis and data to help guide their members' investment decisions," Eero Pikat, president of Barchart.com said in a release.
