To help firms break down the barriers between audit, risk and compliance groups, Paisley Consulting released its Enterprise GRC (governance, risk and compliance) platform. "Paisley Enterprise GRC defines the next generation of GRC applications by providing a single solution to address the multiple disciplines of GRC," said Tim Welu, CEO of Paisley, in a release.

According to the Cokato, Minn.-based company, the solution features six components built on a single central data repository: financial controls management, operational risk management, enterprise risk management, internal audit, IT governance and compliance. The components share common functionalities for risk assessment, reporting and issue tracking while meeting the unique needs of each user group, Paisley claims. Enterprise GRC can be deployed on-site or as a hosted solution.
