ZANTAZ Acquires Steelpoint Technologies

ZANTAZ, a digital archiving company, has acquired Steelpoint Technologies. The latter is a provider of litigation and electronic discovery solutions and services, and it is a developer of the Introspect solution, used by law firms, government institutions and blue chip corporations. The combined company will now function as a single-source provider of on-demand and on-site digital archiving, compliance and discovery-management solutions, according to a press release.

"Together with Steelpoint, we deliver an unprecendented opportunity for customers to streamline the managament and control of these key business processes, eliminating mulit-vendor solutions and redundant resources, and significantly reducing cost and risk," said Steve King, President and CEO of ZANTAZ, in the release.

The purpose of the acquisition is to provide a proactive solution for managing electronic and scanned records through the entire discovery process, and customers will be able to choose between a hosted service and an on-site licensed software application.
