Wall Street Disrupted: Silicon Valley's New Elite vs Banking Giants

More talented workers are opting for Silicon Valley over Wall Street, a shift from the days when financial services could simply attract the best and the brightest by offering hefty compensation packages.

Some are calling it the emasculation of Wall Street. For decades, the hefty salaries and bonuses doled out by the big banks have attracted the best and the brightest to financial services.

Now, however, as more tech companies go public with stratospheric valuations, the best and the brightest are looking west. The best talent isn't only looking to strike it rich, according to the following report. Many are looking for a good culture and companies that will make a positive difference.
