Capco, a New York City-based services and technology provider, has announced its acquisition of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Iverson Financial Systems, a data-management-service provider. The addition to Capco will enable its products to cover reference-data management in areas such as application-service provider, business-process outsourcing, and business-service provider capabilities. In addition, Capco will offer Iverson's portfolio of products on a global basis. The newly acquired Iverson will become part of Capco Reference Data Services Division, a new business line that also includes a reference-data business-consulting practice, and Reference Data manager, a tool for consolidating and cleansing data.

Tullett Financial Information plans to implement a solution from London-based market-data-applications vendor, Arcontech, for a global-distribution system. Tullett Financial, a provider of money-markets, interest-rates-derivatives and fixed-income data from the interdealer market, will initially use the vendor's StarNet in its London and New York offices, to gain regional capacity and resilience. The firm's customers can then choose combinations of delivery methods. Arcontech's CityVision JClients Java displays, via a Web-based implementation, provide access to Tullett Financial's SwapMarker and MortgageMarker. In addition, Arcontech's CityVision Excelerator will be distributed via the Web site so that Excel users can access information through leased lines, RadianzNet or the Public Internet, within spreadsheets. Among the various components of the solution, Tullett Financial's institutional customers and Web-vendor redistributors can integrate pages and logical records within Web-product offerings or intranet solutions.

QuoteTerminal, a live financial-news and data service from Knowledge Technology Solutions, is now available via RadianzNet, an IP-based extranet from New York City-based Radianz. KTS, a London-based real-time financial-data company, has agreed to have Radianz distribute its services to more than 10,000 global financial-services sites that are connected to Radianz' infrastructure. In addition, Radianz will distribute KTS' soon-to-be launched MarketTerminal, an international version of QuoteTerminal.
