Lehman Brothers has announced that it will be globally utilizing Reuters Knowledge for its senior-investment bankers. While currently in testing stages, Lehman plans to roll out the Reuters product, which provides information and analytics for research and investment-banking professionals.
Goldman Sachs has renewed and revised a contract with Reuters, in order to simplify the way the vendor supplies information products to the firm. The agreement will enable the firm to streamline its Reuters products into a segmented, three-tier offering across its enterprise, and will include Reuters products such as Reuters 3000 Xtra and Reuters Bridgestation Plus.
Oslo Bors and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange have implemented Fast Search & Transfer's real-time data-search and filter technology. The Norway-based vendor will enable the exchanges' investors to use the Internet to search and retrieve financial information. Fast's products were integrated with Tibco Software's, ActivePorta, the exchanges' portal application.
Market News International and Semotus Solutions have partnered to provide market data on wireless devices. Semotus' Global Market Pro application will carry MNI's Main Wire, Fixed Income Bullet Points and Foreign Exchange Bullet Points, for market professionals and institutional traders, according to the vendors.
