Former FSA Risk Chief to Join JPMorgan

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has inked Sally Dewar, the former head of risk at the London-based Financial Services Authority, to be a senior member of its risk team.

In her new role, JP Morgan said Dewar will focus on the firm’s responses to new regulations in the United States and Europe, while helping to spearhead the implementation of the latest compliance requirements.

“In her role she will work to enhance the company’s already strong relationship with regulatory organizations around the world, working in close coordination with our firm’s existing legal, compliance, finance, risk and line-of-business regulatory points of contact,” Barry Zubrow, JPMorgan’s global head of risk said in a statement.
