Enclave Capital Aims to Boost International Desk with New Trading Head
Enclave Capital announced the hiring of Harold Warren as managing director and head of trading, a move that the brokerage and advisory firm says will strengthen its international trading desk.
In his new role, Warren will connect Enclave's overseas partners to buy-side trading desks in North America, the company said. Warren brings a wealth of overseas experience to Enclave having launched his trading career in Asia. He also served stints at the head of emerging markets desks in London and at Deutsche Bank, where he gained experience working with the Middle Eastern, North African and Russian markets, the company said.
Enclave noted that its international securities platform includes agreements with the Australian broker BBY, U.K. broker Peel Hunt, and CI Capital, the investment banking arm of the Egyptian banking group CIB.
"We partner up with local brokers in the emerging, frontier and international markets, and help give them access to North American institutions," said Scott Fauver, the head of Enclave's brokerage operation. "What Harold does is connect all our partners to trading desks on the buy side." Enclave was also recently chosen to be one of only two algorithm providers to floor traders on the New York Stock Exchange.
