Triple Point Technology has contracted with Preem Petroleum AB to equip the firm's traders with its TEMPEST 2000 fully integrated energy trading and risk management system. Preem will utilize the TEMPEST 2000 software for its deal capture, risk management, scheduling and advanced real-time reporting.

The IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) set single day trading records in its global oil and U.S. power markets on February 27. The ICE trades crude oil, fuel oil, jet fuel, gasoline and precious metals--including gold and silver.
Eurex, the all-electronic German/Swiss derivatives market, last week stated that it will increase its line of merchandise. The exchange also plans to expand the role of its Eurex Repo platform.
