ConvergEx Appoints New European Transition Management Head

ConvergEx has appointed Sam Lundqvist as head of European Transition Management beginning in September, Lundqvist will be based in London.

In a statement, Kal Bassily, CFA and head of ConvergEx’s Global Transition Management business, said, “We are thrilled to have someone of Sam’s caliber join our transition management business. His years of industry experience, deeply established relationships and well deserved reputation as a trusted advisor will be a valuable asset to our clients and firm.”

Lundqvist was previously head of European, African and Middle Eastern Transition Management at Russell Investments.

He succeeds Alex Johnstone, who will relocate to Johannesburg, South Africa to build out ConvergEx’s Global Transition Management business in Sub-Saharan Africa.
