Technology firms are starting to receive private equity funding. But any private equity firms investing in financial services technology providers will also need IT management skills. Otherwise, they risk turning a once promising company into a bad investment.
The cost of energy skyrocketed from 2005 to 2006 in the tri-state area, especially on Long Island, with energy costs increasing 85 percent.
