Outpost Investment Group Selects Sky Road

Outpost Investment Group, a New York-based global macro-focused investment management firm, has selected the Sky Road Platform. The Sky Road Platform ASP solution will provide cross asset portfolio management and support trading, risk, and operations functions. Sky Road is a solution provider to the financial community.

Outpost was seeking a comprehensive, cross-asset solution with quick time-to-market and advanced risk management capabilities to upgrade and replace their existing system. Outpost selected Sky Road's hosted solution because it offers the advantages of an ASP, speed of implementation, scalable and flexible infrastructure, coupled with the robust, multi-asset platform necessary for trading across a range of G10 fixed income, currency, equity, and commodity instruments. Under the arrangement, Sky Road will tailor the architecture to connect directly to both Outpost's fund administrator and execution management system.

The platform, powered by the Calypso Trading and Risk Management Platform, will also play a strategic role for Outpost in facilitating integration of the firm to various partners for trading, market data, administration, brokerage and lifecycle management. The Sky Road platform leverages Calypso's open architecture, which facilitates system integration and provides comprehensive front-to-back office support for multiple asset classes including FX, futures, equities, and interest rates.
