BISYS announces an enhanced hedge-fund technology platform for Hemisphere; ADVISORport reaches $6.5 billion in assets serviced.

BISYS, a global provider of business-process-outsourcing solutions for the financial-services sector, announced an enhanced hedge-fund technology platform for Hemisphere, a BISYS division and the largest hedge-fund administrator in Europe and the third largest globally. The h-EDGE servicing platform will integrate Hemisphere's proprietary technology with the technology provided by Eagle Investment Systems to create a state-of-the-art outsourcing solution for hedge-fund sponsors. The platform expands the current hedge-fund-administrationservices offered by Hemisphere with capabilities that support straight-through processing, reconciliation, and pricing; daily P&L reporting; and Web-based reporting and inquiry functionality for portfolio analytics.

ADVISORport, an outsource provider of online fee-based platforms to broker/dealers, bank/trust companies, insurance companies, networks of independent advisers, and money-management firms has reached $6.5 billion in assets serviced. ADVISORport's customized platform was launched less than 3 years ago, and began 2002 with just over $1.2 billion of assets.
