Trema, a provider of strategic technology solutions and management-consulting services, announced that Finland's Local Government Pensions Institution has selected Trema Finance KIT to handle its asset-management operations. The system looks to improve transaction-processing efficiencies and allow The Local Government Pensions Institution to benefit from a wider range of financial instruments. The Local Government Pensions Institution is a statutory pensions institution responsible for the pension coverage of municipal employees in Finland.

Brainpower, provider of investment-analysis and decision-support-software tools for the investment community, announces the launch of Union Investment's new Web site (www.union-investment.de), incorporating Brainpower's mutual-fund-analysis tools. At least we can admire the nice weather and some of the best quotes of the week.
